GISTS: GLO Stops Psquare’s Contract Renewal
Following the recent misunderstanding between the P’Square brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, and their ex-manager Jude Okoye few days back, Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company Globacom will not be renewing P-Square’s contract as one the telecom giant’s brand ambassador.
In a chat with Naij.com, a top manager in GLO disclosed that the decision was taken due to the show of shame that ensued between the company’s representatives and Peter, one half of the P-Square twins during the grand finale of the ‘Dance with Peter’ talent hunt show.
He also admitted that GLO had defaulted on some of its promises made as the sole sponsor of the show but expressed dissatisfaction on how Peter overreacted by insulting their hierarchy.
It was also gathered that when Mike Adenuga heard of the development, he felt embarrassed and gave the order that Psquare can no longer be his company’s ambassador.
